Tumor Lysis Syndrome
Select the laboratory abnormalities that form the criteria for the diagnosis of TLS. Two or more laboratory signs within 3 days before or within 7 days after initiation of cytotoxic therapy are required for a diagnosis of TLS.
1. Uric acid > 476 µmol/l or > 25% increase from baseline
2. Phosphorus > 2.1 mmol/l or > 25% increase from baseline
3. Leukocytosis > 100 thousand/μl or > 25% decrease from baseline
4. Thrombocytopenia < 50 thousand/μl or > 25% decrease from baseline
5. Anaemia: Hb < 70 g/l or > 25% decrease from baseline
6. Ionised calcium > 1.75 mmol/l or > 25% increase from baseline
7. Potassium > 6 mmol/l or > 25% increase from baseline
