Mrs Nováková is a 70 years old polymorbid female patient. She was taken to the emergency department because she had a car accident where as a car driver hit the pillar. Right after rescue she is conscious, spontaneously ventilating, circulating stable, complaining of chest pain. After full-body CT, craniotrauma and spinal injury were excluded. However, there are fractures of the ribs and the acetabula on the right also. Because of the nature of the injuries, the conservative treatment is kept. Due to rupture of the liver and spleen, surgical revisions were necessary. After surgery, with secured airways, Mrs. Nováková was admitted to the Department of Acute and Intensive Care.
