Complex regional pain syndrome in children
Joey, a thirteen-year-old child, is coming with his parents to the surgical ambulance. Two days ago, he felt on his stretched arm while playing floorball. He is complaining about pain in the area of left wrist and thenar. During physical examination we find oedema, palpation tenderness in the foveola radialis area and impaired mobility. So far he was given cold poultice and Dolgit gel TDS. How will we proceed?
